The podcast studio is available 24/7 for members, and available 8 am to 10 pm daily for non-members.

The studio is located within our coworking space, at 11 Douglas Ave, 2nd floor. Take the elevator up and one of our community managers will direct you.

We have:
– a Zoom H6 Six-Track Portable Recorder with Interchangeable Microphone System.  (How to use: https://zoomcorp.com/media/documents/E_H6.pdf)
– Two Voilamart microphones (with two more on the way), with suspension arm stand and tabletop mic stands,
and various accessories.

– Various other accessories

No worries. If it is your first time to use such equipment, or specifically the Zoom H6, we will sit down with you for 10 to 15 minutes and go over the basics to get you up and recording. Do let us know and plan to arrive a few minutes early for this overview.

Yes! Bring an SD card, or a micro SD card to record your audio.

We have extra cards available, for an additional cost of $10.

You may also bring your own equipment to record directly to, i.e. phone or laptop. Please read up on the H6 capabilities.

Sure can! If you are more comfortable with using your own recording equipment, or have something we do not have, by all means, feel free to bring that with.

Of course! We currently have 2 mics, but we can handle up to 4 mics, and a total of four people in the podcast studio.

If your guest(s) are remote, we can handle that as well.

If you want to, yes! We have hi-speed 1.25GB internet with a wi-fi router located just outside the podcast studio, with more than enough bandwidth to stream live.

Hmmm, we can be creative. While geared toward podcast productions, there are other options. With a green screen and lighting, it is possible to do photography shots. If you are a gamer, with our fast 1.25GB internet, there are possibilities to this. Other ideas? Let us know.

Yes! In general, we offer tours of our space, but if your focus is on the podcast studio, we can take you right there for an overview.

Can’t make it? It happens, but please be sure to cancel your time slot 24 hours before the start time so someone else may take your spot. If within 24 hours, also contact us at hello@etccoworking.space.
